jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Vashu Bhagnani. The film
features Ajay Devgan oppositeTamannaa hin the lead roles. It is an
official remake of the 1983film of the same name, directed byK.

The first look poster ofHimmatwalawas revealed on 8 August 2012,
whilst the trailer unveiled on 24 January 2013.[2]The film was
released on 29 March 2013 and received extremely negative reviews from
critics, as well as viewers.

Soundtrack
The film has a special disco song called "Thank God It's Friday" sung
by Sunidhi Chauhan and scored by Sachin-Jigar. The other songs have
been scored by Sajid-Wajid . The soundtrack includes remakes of the
hit songsfrom the old version of the film,"Taki O Taki" and "Nainon
Mein Sapna." The song promo of"Naino Mein Sapna" was released on 8
February 2013. It has been re-created with the singers Amit Kumar and
Shreya Ghoshal .
